Tips for this flavour
- Dosing: 3–5% standalone for “hibiscus lemonade”; 0.5–3% as an accent in berries/fruit/teas.
- Soften florals: round with 0.25–0.5% vanilla/marshmallow or a light cream.
- Lemonade/soda: add lemon/lime, a pinch of citric/malic and 0.25–0.5% sweetener for fizz.
- Pairings: strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, mango, passion fruit, orange; green/jasmine tea bases.
- Steeping: short (0–3 days)—retest after 24 h and adjust acid/sweetener if needed.

Does it taste like tea?
Yes—a mild tea/herbal edge with bright red-fruit tartness.
Will it turn soapy?
Only if overdosed; reduce %, round with vanilla/cream and give it a 24 h rest.
Does it work with berries?
Excellent—adds depth and tart lift to strawberry, raspberry and blueberry.
Good with coolants?
Light coolants create an “iced hibiscus tea” effect without masking the flavour.
