Acetyl Pyrazine 5 PG is a concentrated additive (5% AP in PG) that imparts realistic cracker, toasted grain, nut and popcorn notes. Ideal for pie crusts, cookies, roasted nut/praline edges and dry bready body in desserts, chocolates, coffees and tobaccos. Use: Concentrate that must be diluted. TFA flavours are water-soluble and PG-carried; some may contain traces of ethanol. Note: We purchase in bulk and re-bottle into smaller bottles (not the original packaging).

Tips for this flavour

  • Dose low: 0.05–0.5% goes a long way. Higher can read “corn chip”/cardboard.
  • Crust & crumb builds: pair with Graham Cracker/Pie Crust and a touch of Brown Sugar.
  • Nuts & chocolate: boosts hazelnut/peanut/almond and chocolates (Cocoa Rounds, DX Milk Chocolate).
  • Tobaccos: a pinch adds dry roasted edges in RY4/Western/DK Tobacco II.
  • Softer finish: balance with 0.25–0.5% Marshmallow/Vanilla Swirl if the mix feels too dry.
  • Steeping: 0–3 days—AP settles quickly; re-adjust gently after a short rest.

Ingredients

Flavouring substance (Acetyl Pyrazine 5%), Propylene Glycol (PG). May contain traces of ethanol/water.

Allergy & warnings

  • Highly potent additive—use very sparingly and never undiluted.
  • PG-carried—intended only for dilution in base liquid.
  • Overuse can taste like “corn chips”/cardboard or peanut skin—start low and fine-tune.
  • Store cool/dark, tightly closed. Keep away from children and pets.

Mixing ratios (starting points)

  • Additive in e-liquid: 0.05–0.5%
  • Bakery/crumb boost: 0.1–0.3%
  • Tobacco/cereal edge: 0.05–0.2%

FAQ

Flavour or additive?
Mainly an additive to add biscuit/toasty realism and structure.

Use it standalone?
Not recommended—it’s powerful and best in tiny amounts within recipes.

Does it taste like peanuts?
It can give nut/peanut-skin vibes but isn’t a peanut flavour.

Got a “corn chip” note—how to fix?
Lower the %; add Marshmallow/Vanilla Swirl and rest 1–3 days.

PG-carried and must be diluted?
Yes—water-soluble, PG-carried concentrate to dilute in base.
