The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) is a leading producer of water-soluble flavourings.

Maple Syrup brings classic pancake-syrup vibes: caramelised sweetness, gentle buttery warmth and a touch of molasses/roast—excellent for waffles, ice-cream, bakery, coffee and dessert tobaccos (e.g., RY4). Use: Concentrate that must be diluted. TFA flavours are water-soluble and PG-carried; some may contain traces of ethanol. Note: We purchase in bulk and re-bottle into smaller sizes (not the original packaging).

Tips for this flavour

  • Coffee dessert: tiny dose in coffee/espresso with creams for a maple latte.
  • Tobacco depth: 0.25–1% in RY4/light tobaccos for caramelised sweetness.

FAQ

Is it smoky?
A light roasted hint for realism. If you want less, lower the % and round with vanilla/creams.

Best for pancakes/waffles?
Yes—build with crumb/crust notes and a touch of butter & vanilla.

Why do I taste bitterness?
Likely overdosed. Reduce %, add butterscotch/vanilla and rest 7–14 days.

Good in coffee?
Excellent in small amounts for a maple-latte profile.

PG-carried and must be diluted?
Yes—water-soluble, PG-carried concentrate to be diluted in base.
